I just finished watching another anime after such a long time. I believe it’s been a year since the last time I did. I jy=ust missed watching anime.

Honestly, I’ve been avoiding it for such a long time ‘coz I want to focus on my studies. But now that I’m a bit free ‘coz it’s summer vacation I’m taking my time watching whatever I want to watch. :D

I so so so love this anime! It’s manga isn’t done actually so the transition on the anime is a bit fast and other details is missing but it’s still beutiful.

Yamato was so handsome! I wonder how many boys like him were left in this world~.

Mei is so nice. I could visualize the ‘Tachibana Mei’ in most girls nowadays. I’m sure there are a lot of us who thinks that we don’t need friend. That it’d be better to be alone and isolate ourselves in our own world. That people would just come into your life and hurt you, leave you, etc. But life isn’t like that. And not all people are like that. Someday, someone would come into your life, you might reject them and push them away because you’re afraid. But that person won’t stop until you accept him/her in your life. Just like what Yamato did. LOL XD That person would definitely see and accept you as you are without any conditions. The way you are different would make someone fall for you. Just be real (Well, that’s easy to say, actually. But I hope to meet someone like that in real life. When will the ‘Yamato’ of my life come?) You could share your happiness and pains with that person.

It’s not just Mei, there are also lots of characters you could relate to. Just like Megu, Kai, Aiko, Nagi, Asami, and all other characters.

I think this anime best suits or most recommended to those who are depressed, bully victims, teens, anorexic, bullimic, those people who are bashed or have haters, to those girls who are feeling ugly, confused in love,to those who are in a relationship, and the bullies too. I mean, everyone could relate ‘coz I think each and everyone of us have gone through all of these obstacles during our adolescence.

Yamato is a very nice guy. He really does. And that’s the problem. It’s good to be nice. But make sure that you’re nicer when it comes to you girlfriend. I mean, if you treat your girlfriend like any other girl out there that you’re being nice to, that would make her feel insecured and that’s kind of wrong. So make sure to make her special, ne? This is a lesson to all the boys. Same goes to girls. :D  Watch it~!

It’s the very first time I’m not liking someone’s sexiness. You know, I kinda used of appreciating sexiness of artists especially n Kpop. And most of the time, it makes me horny. But Kai’s case is different. I don’t like the way he’s being sexy on stage or in front of the camera whenever he performs. It’s not that it doesn’t suit him or anything. It actually looks good on him when he smirks ‘coz it turns him to man. But I just really prefer his cute side. I just like it everytime he smiles, laughs, gets shy and all. And I think that’s the sexiest thing ever. And I could say that Kai and Jongin is a bit different. And I prefer Jongin than Kai. Jongin is much more innocent. ‘Coz I feel like it’s the real him though we couldn’t separate his stage persona ‘coz he’s already an artist.

Before anything else, let me give a round of applause to Ms. Sarah Geronimo and Mr. John Lloyd Cruz!

Wow! That was a wow! For the very first time, Sarah made me cry. I’m really not a fan of these two. But I know and I couldn’t deny how great actor and actress they are.

Among the three parts of these movie, this one is the best! I like how it started with hopes up that Miggy and Laida was still okay. But it was emphasized immediately that they’re not and it’s been two years since they broke up. Obviously, they so much love each other. It’s just that things happened and didn’t make their relationship any better. It was a mistake. And some things won’t just get resolved even if how many times you say sorry. Because a simple sorry sometimes isn’t just enough. It’s not that easy. And sometimes when you’re hurt and in pan, you just have to go through a process to heal, meditate, and change. And that change could result to something that you never expected and never knew. That’s what pain could do.

In this movie, Laida became, wiser, braver and fiercer. Sabi nga niya, “This is Laida Magtalas version 2.0” Oh, bongga diba? May pa 2.0 2.0 pa siyang nalalaman, eh halata namang in denial ang peg ni ate. Yeah, It’s a good thing that she changed for her own benefit. But because of that she lost herself. Nawala yung Laida Magtalas na masiglahin and optimistic na naniniwala sa ‘happily ever after’. Pati yung ngiting Laida Magtalas nawala na rin. 

I cried at the part when Laida and her father reconciled. That’s the moment I’m waiting. It’s probably not that easy. It takes time to heal. And forgiving her father for whatever mistake he’ve done before is the first step to totally heal.

One of the best scenes na nagustuhan ko sa movie is yung sa may airport. Ang cute!

Basta I like this movie. Aside from the humor, and cuteness, I also like how they tried to resolve their problems and feelings with each other.

It takes a mature man and woman to be in a stable relationship. I like what Laida said on their wedding. “I’m ready to face a reality ever after with you.” And yung sinabi ni Miggy, “This is not a day for promises but a day for complete surrender.”

I like it! ‘coz it’s cute an it’s colored with apple green (my fave color) and pink. the furniture are cute too! but let’s change the posters to SUJU ones. excuse me, i’m not a hater. but if that’s my room, that’s what i’d like to put on the walls. or it can be none, ‘coz it’s cleaner to see that way. :D

There are a lot of dramas about cross-dressing which is usually done by the lead girl. But in his drama, it’s a boy’s turn to do the cross-dressing. I’m not sure if I’ve already read something like this in manga. Or maybe it’s just an effect of my past addiction in anime. You know, lots of characters in anime looks like a girl but actually it’s a guy. =.=

This drama is just so cute! If you’re tired of melodramatic scenes from other dramas, this is the best for you! It’s full of fluffiness, cuteness and very funny!

Kim So Hyeon is a teen actress. She’s only 14. But has been a part of the biggest dramas like Moon Embracing the Sun, I Miss You and Rooftop Prince.

Sunwoong on the other hand is the leader of the boy group TOUCH. He’s 22 years old.

Both of them did great at this drama. I was used of Sohyeon being an antagonist but in this drama, she showcased her cute and bubbly side. As for Sunwoong, this is his first drama but he did very great.

I suppose this drama was a promo for their group TOUCH. Sohyeon was also in one of their MVs. And I think making the drama only last for 3 episode is an effective technique to catch the audience’s interest and attention. I mean, it’s not only them who did this kind of promotion. Most groups does this, right?

And I’ve observed, Sunwoong looks like the Jo Twins. And since he’s older than them, I thought he could be their hyung. LOL XD But that was just my observation. They really doesn’t have any connections or relationships at all.

Sungwoong did great on being Hyunwoo and really effective character as Irene. At first, I thought Ren of Nu’est could do the character of Irene. He’ll definitely nail it. But as for the character of Hyunwoo, I don’t think so. Even if he’s not doing a cross-dressing or just being the normal him, he already looks feminine. But he could be manly if he wants to like on their MV Hello. There’s someone I think could also do both character. Luhan of EXO. Luhan looks cute and feminine considering he’s slim (but with abs of course). If he does the cross-dressing for the character of Irene he’ll definitely looks beautiful. And for the character of Hyunwoo, he’ll also look cool. But when we talk about the pairing or the love team with Sohyeon, hmm, I don’t think so. Even if Luhan looks young though he’s already 23, it’s still not as much as Sohyeon looks. Maybe if the lead was another girl, someone who could match Luhan, then it’s okay. Ma Boy’s theme for me suits the ones in middle school or early high school. That’s why it suits the love team of Sohyeon and Sunwoong. I like their love team. They suit each other though there’s a large age gap between them. I hope to see more of them together. :D

Though the drama only lasts for 3 episodes, it won’t surely leave you hanging on the edge.And the OST is also cute! There are also song references for SUJU, BigBang. And remember that song in Dream High? The one Suzy and Eunjung sang for their audition? ‘A Goose’s Dreams’. It’s also there! It’s worth watching!

Just finished watching this! OMG! They’re all so funny! I so so so love their kalokohan, kagaguhan, friendship, adventures, kapalpakan, kakulitan, at katangahan. HAHA XD

Tropang tropa and feel!

Oh dun samga di maka-move on diyan, etong tama at saktong movie para sa inyo. Sa mga manhid at bulag na kaibigang hindi makita yung taong tunay na nagmamahal sa kanila, panuorin niyo ito at nang magising kayo. Sa mga loko-lokong lalake diyan, lam nyu na.

Minsan kailangan talagang balikan ang nakaraan para magkaalaman. And sa oras na down, gipit at nagangailangan ka, dun mo malalaman kung sino ang tunay mong kaibigan. Minsan, may mga bagay na hindi na talaga kayang maibalik sa nakaraan, may mga bagay na magbabago sa paglipas ng panahon, pero ang mahalaga, yung feelings. Andun pa rin ba yung pagmamahal? Nandun pa rin ba yung minahal mo? At dapat matuto rin tayong magpatawad.

May mga pagkakataon na kalangan nating masaktan, para mas tumatag tayo.

Magbago man ang lahat, basta magkakasama ang barkada, kakayanin kahit ano pa yan. At wag matakot harapin ang nakaraan, wag matakot ayusin kung anu man ang mali kahit na mahirap at masakit. Kasi, mas maganda at masarap din naman ang kapalit pag naayos and problema, hindi ba?

Juniel and IU

I like these two girls. I’m a fan of IU. But even though I’m really not a fan of Juniel, I like her songs and her voice. I love their concepts and images they have. I love them as artists and singers. Their voices are different and distinct. Though they have similar kind of concept, they still have differences which makes them excel in their own ways. SO I don’t think there’s any reason for their fans to compare or choose which one’s better just because they have similar concepts. For me, I like them both.

This statement was from the movie In Time. It was written on the window by Henry Hamilton.

It has the most different meaning I’ve ever read in my entire life. It doesn’t sound bad, negative, warning, threat or a sarcasm. It sounds more like a last will or a wish.

Henry gave his century to Will when he was asleep and only spared 5 minutes for himself. Doesn’t that sound very charitable. At that world where Time serves as their only currency and measure or value of life. Would you give yours to others just like that?

Well, I think, yes. If you knew that, that person would use that time wisely and with much worth and sense than you actually did. And that’s what Will actually did. He spent the time he got to fix the system. Equality.

For me? Time is surely something I wouldn’t gamble. Never. It’s something an individual rightfully owns. More than money,  it’s time that gives value to people’s life. Gives worth and wealth. And more than money, it’s time that at some point, rules our lives. We chase for it, don’t we? We work at a given time and rests the same way.

No… Let’s rephrase it.

We work for time and rests when we it allows us to do so.

This movie, is just a superb.

Well, they always say, ‘Time is Gold’. It truly does. If people, like me, could just realize how precious and important time is,  then this world would at least be a better place. And this movie taught me just exactly about that. If we ran out of time, we die. If we ran out of time, we’re going to regret for being too late. And blame why we don’t got enough time.

Well, it’s weird in this movie. You’re not going to die because you’re too old. Because at the age of 25, you’ll stop aging. As long as you got time at your clock, you’ll keep on living. You’ll only die when it runs out. When you’re shot by a gun or overdosed. Sounds crazy? Not really. Doesn’t that what people wants? To live forever?

Well, in my case, I don’t. I don’t intend to live longer than 75-80 years. Anything more than that is torture. *chuckles*

All in all, we should learn how to value our time. ‘Coz it’s all we got. Best thing before education that no one could steal.

This movie is just so great. I just couldn’t imagine life like that in the movie though. Paying everything with your time is like suicide. Though it would sound interesting. Everyday seems to be like a gamble.

So, which do you think is better? Battle Royale or The Hunger Games?

Of course you couldn’t make a choice and a verdict unless you’ve already seen both movies. First of all, let me make myself clear. We’re talking about the movies here, okay? ‘Cause honestly, I haven’t read both books/novels yet. So we’re only talking about the film and how it’s made and the story and all just about the movie. That’s all.

Battle Royale was created by a Japanese writer Koushun Takami. The Hunger Games was written by American writer Suzanne Collins.

Similarities:

Both are in a dystopian era. Hunger Games is accepted by the society. It’s caused by an apocalyptic incident in the past. Battle Royale was formed by fear and an authoritarian government. And both movies have two victor/survivor. They’ve garnered lots of praises in a movie review. And the their books were translated into different languages.

Both movies have the same rule: To kill until there’s only one left. But as the story progress, it gradually ended up with two victors.

Some characters in the story formed an alliance to survive. There are also some who chose not to kill and just hide but still ended up dying. There were also characters who are too aggressive to kill and survive but like those who chose no to kill, they also died in the end. Those characters who has the right intentions of living and surviving are the ones who actually lives and survived.

Differences:

Battle Royale is more gory than Hunger Games. THG is openly acceptable by the society and is anticipated yearly. While Battle Royale is a law where no one has no way of defying. Love story of the characters in BR is much more true and requited than in THG where the feelings were most likely faked just for survival.

In BR, students were caged in an island to kill each other without any training or skills in using harmful weapons. They’re not prepared, all they could hold on to is there stock knowledge and instincts. While in THG, tributes were trained before letting them kill each other. And it is more advanced in technology since it’s in a future era. While BR was created years ago around 1996.

Opinion:

After watching both movies, I came to see these similarities ans differences. I may still not noted some points but let’s just leave it like that for now.

In my verdict, I prefer Battle Royale because some reasons that I chose to just keep to myself to not affect your own opinions. Just see both movies for yourself and create your own verdict. This is just to help you guys.

All in all, both movies are great. Kudos to their respective writers. I guess they’re the best movies of their generation.
